Aged Care (Elder Care Support)

Bandaar Walaaybaa Community Hub Aboriginal Corporations receiving this initiative to delegate, deliver the Elder Care Support Program - Aged Care Workforce Program, today launching the program & this great opportunity was a very successful achievement.

The program aims to increase our communities to deliver a cultural safe workforce team to deliver cultural needs to our Elders in communities so that they can stay at home and feel safe. To support & empower the community to candidate place- based care needs for our elders. To deliver services at a grass-root level is beneficial, our elders need to feel safe and supported in making right choices by giving them options and making their twilight days an enjoyable journey by making good memories. The program aim is to make an impact and difference to the health of our Aboriginal families and the wider communities. The programs delivering the services will benefit our Elders and their families, and our Elders are our strength and carries of knowledge and carries of so much wisdom and we need to cherish them in their journeys. 

As we are the oldest continuing living culture in the entire world.
