About Us

Bandaar Walaaybaa Community Hub - Is a place for everyone that needs a helping hand at a grass-root level, the hub is a safe place to connect, yarn up, share stories, learn & socialize in a cultural  appropriate setting, the hub will work with our alias and join an alignment & connect partnership's with  state, federal government's in implementing support delivery  in the 2022-2024 Closing the Gap  Implementation Plan to target our First Nation People for better outcomes to engage on the front line to reduce the disadvantages our First Nation People had to endurance.

It's a place to reconnect back to services where there has been a disconnection, the hub will build on cultural inclusion by developing specific strategies & recourses for Aboriginal people, their families and communities and by building on a stronger approach by improving better outcomes for mob by identifying barriers, the hub will assist in the relief of poverty,  education and cultural connections which had created anguish, and adversity among our mob within our communities , we will aim to leverage issues and build on trust to address barriers, the hub aim is to work within our communities to limit or break re-occurring circles and work on building a holistic approach connection  and to provide support's that looks at the whole person and not  just their mental health needs (SM&WB) and connecting back to families, country and service providers.

Bandaar Walaaybaa - Providing Culture staff who Cultural identifies with their cultural knowledge & being cultural sensitivity that we are aware and accepting of cultural differences.

It is always important as a professional dealing with Indigenous cultures to be aware of the culture of communities with who they engage with, cultural awareness shows respect for the culture with whom those who is working within these communities to build better relationships and more effective in their work.
